Introducing the Spark Program for Markets and Legal Frameworks.
This program is designed specifically for students who are interested in studying a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Administration at Curtin University.
This program consists of the following three credentials:

Legal Frameworks - focuses on the nature and the sources of law, and the relationship between regulation, business governance, civil behaviour and social responsibility.

Economics in a Changing and Unequal World - focuses on how capitalist markets work from an economics viewpoint. It explores the concepts of private property and economic growth and the socioeconomic issues of economic inequality and environmental impacts.

Making Sense of Modern Markets - focuses on the dynamics of the external market environment and how it affects businesses and consumption behaviours. It explores the market forces in everyday business environments that impact society; how businesses create value for individuals and broader society; and the value of responsible and sustainable business practices.
Earn a Badge
Once you successfully complete and pass the final assessment for each credential, you'll earn a digital badge that is instantly shareable to your social networks (including LinkedIn).
This digital badge provides foundation knowledge in a discipline and doesn't require previous knowledge.
Collect all three badges and earn credit towards a Curtin bachelor degree
Collect all three digital badges and gain 25 credit points.
On successful completion of all three credentials in this program you will earn 25 credit points for the unit BLAW1002 Markets and Legal Frameworks.

Kickstart your Curtin journey with a relaxed first semester
When you study at Curtin University, you typically study 4 x 25 credit units each semester.
Should you take up this opportunity, this essentially means that in your first semester you will only need to study 3 units. This will provide you with extra time to enrol in on campus activities, join the campus clubs and truly immerse yourself in student life.
If you’re currently working – it also means you can potentially take on extra work.
