Dr. Christian Duperouzel
Dr. Christian Duperouzel

Lecturer/Faculty of Business and Law

Dr. Christian Duperouzel is a lecturer in the Curtin Law School. Prior to joining Curtin, he was a practicing lawyer in Fremantle who specialised in the area of commercial litigation.

Since commencing work full-time at Curtin Business School in 2010, Christian has managed some significant courses of study within the school. After taking over the administration of the Sports Management major, he has gone on to lead large cohorts of first-year commerce students across Curtin’s Bentley and international campuses through the core Business Law unit, and the newly constructed Markets and Legal Frameworks unit, which integrates the disciplines of law, economics and marketing.

In 2017, Christian completed his doctoral studies which explored the role of a lived calling in driving the leadership accomplishment of a virtuous purpose. This is an area which Christian is extremely passionate about and his academic writings since that time have focused on themes to emerge from his research. In addition to leadership and vocational studies, other areas which Christian has a strong interest in are spirituality, human rights and responsibilities, conscious business, integrated forms of corporate governance, and the countering of extremist ideologies.

Christian is an avid blogger and learner, who has very recently published his first non-fiction book. His second book (due to be published in 2026) will explore contemporary issues in the field of Natural Law (Legal philosophy).
