Gain the innovation knowledge that is important for a future career in international business or organisational leadership.
In this Spark credential you will learn why successful innovation is the key to organisational sustainability in the current era of changing power relations and economic engagement, and the strategies that organisations can apply to achieve innovation.
It is one of three Spark credentials that can be completed together and used as credit towards a Curtin bachelor degree in innovation.
Earn credit towards your Curtin bachelor degree
When you complete this Spark credential together with Spark credentials in Innovation Fundamentals; and Preparing for the Future of Work, you’ll earn 25 credit points towards the Introduction to Innovation Principles unit, normally studied in the first year of your degree.
This Spark credential is designed specifically for high school students who want to gain the skillsets for creating innovation and/or a future career in entrepreneurship.
By completing your Spark credential you will learn to:
- describe the strategies and processes that lead to successful innovation
- explain how new firms can attain market share
- outline how successful innovation is the key to organisational sustainability.
Assessment
To successfully complete this credential, you are required to pass a final assessment.
Once you successfully complete and pass the final assessment, you'll earn a digital badge that is instantly shareable to your social networks (including LinkedIn) which showcases your new skills and knowledge mastery.

This digital badge provides foundation knowledge in a discipline and doesn't require previous knowledge.
